RECOMMENDED GENERAL RATIO OF- 

1. PEAT MOSS AND SOIL: A common ratio for a basic soil mix is 1 part peat moss to 2 parts soil. However, this ratio may vary depending on the plant's needs and the type of soil being used. For example, if the soil is heavy clay, you may want to increase the amount of peat moss to improve drainage and aeration.
2. PEAT MOSS AND PERLITE: A common ratio for a basic peat moss and perlite mix is 1:1 or equal parts of each. This mixture provides good drainage and aeration for plant roots, which is especially important for plants that require good drainages, such as succulents or cacti.
